Wyatt was the fourth of six children born to Chalmers Walter and Mae L. (Hartman) Wyatt. He married Willie Gray Moore in 1947 and they had three daughters: Louise Estelle, Nancy Moore, and Jackie Elizabeth.

Hayden Grant Wyatt, 45, of 2505 Florida Ave. died at 5:35 p.m. Monday at Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Lutheran Church by the Rev. Walter Yount, assisted by the Rev. Thurmond Plexico. Burial will be in Arlington Nation Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Friday. The body will remain at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord until talked to the church at the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be sent to the building fund of St. James Lutheran Church. Concord.
Mr. Wyatt was born in Cabarrus county March 21, 1921, son of Mrs. Mae Hartman Wyatt and the late Chalmers Wyatt. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, the VFW, and was a veteran of World War II. He was employed as a truck driver with Roadway Express.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Willie Gray Moore Wyatt; three daughters, Misses Louise Estelle Wyatt, Nancy Moore Wyatt, and Jackie Elizabeth Wyatt, all of the home; his mother of White Rock, S.C.; two brothers, Harry R. Wyatt and Doyt Wyatt, both of Concord; and three sisters, Mrs. D. W. Young of Salisbury, Mrs. Home Lowder of Gold Hill, and Mrs. Arnold Dry of Moneta, Va.
