W1XTED, Mechanicville—Matthew T. Wixted, husband of Helen M. Wixted, died Thursday afternoon after a short illness. Born in Stillwater, he had lived in Mechanicville for the past 33 years. Son of the late Henry and Honora Wixted of Willow Glen. He was employed by the Boston and Maine Railroad. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Richard, of Mechanicville, Thomas of Miami, Fla., one brother, Henry E. Wixted, Mechanicville, two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Connor, Schenectady, Mrs. Elizabeth Gainor, Boston, and three grandchildren.
Funeral in charge of John P. Noonan Funeral Home will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the residence, 214 So. Second St., and at 10:30 from the St. Paul's Church. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
