Mrs. May Harris, 80, the wife of Charles Harris of 612 North East street, passed away Wednesday evening at Richland Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, Charles, and the following children; John Harris of Kalamazoo, MI; Paul Harris of Jacksonville, FL; Ellsworth Harris of Gifford, IL; Vernon Harris of Tolono, IL; Mrs. Olive Salisbury of Casper, WY; and Mrs. Genivieve Salisbury of Olney. Also two step-daughters, Mrs. Grace Sayre of Porterville, CA and Mrs. Ethel Johns of Charleston, IL. There are eleven grandchildren and three great granddaughters. Also one brother, Will Metcalf of Macon, IL and two sisters, Mrs. Orpha Watkins of Olney and Mrs. Gertrude Stacey of Portland, OR.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Schaub Funeral Home with the Rev. E. L. Carter in charge. Interment was in Haven Hill cemetery.
