Joseph David Coffman, 81, Athens, died Saturday in the Athens-Limestone Hospital.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with A.J. Rollings officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Coffman was retired from Redstone Arsenal and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Coffman; a son, Charles Coffman of Lester; two daughters, Mrs. Billy Stanford of Lester and Laura Lou Tarpley of Nashville; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
