Obituary: GROVE, Okla. - Wayne died Sunday June 11, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kan. at the age of 70.
Wayne was born July 19, 1935 to Grover and Gladys (Quallate) Buckett at Grove, Okla. He married Edna Sue Beard
December 20, 1958 at Miami, Okla. Wayne worked at Vulcan Chemical Plant in the maintenance department for over 30 years retiring in 1998. He was a member of the V.F.W. #8380 in Grove. He was under the care of the Hospice of Kansas and
the Harry Hines Hospice, both in Wichita, Kan. during his last few days receiving great care.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Eldon Eugene
Buckett and one sister, Arahawana Masters.
Survivors include: his wife, three children, two brothers,three sisters, four grandchildren, one great grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday June 14, at the Delaware County Baptist Church in Grove, with Rev. Larry Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at the Butler Cemetery in Grove. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
