Flora Sampley, 87, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010.
Graveside service: 3 p.m. Thursday in Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Flora was born Oct. 28, 1922, in Grady County, Okla. She lived in Azle for over 50 years and was a witness to many changing lifestyles during her lifetime, from horse-drawn plows to computer-controlled devices. She will be missed greatly.
Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Sampley, in 1989.
Survivors: Daughters, Dolores Brophy and husband, Steven, Della Demand, Mary Livingston and Angela Sampley; grandchildren, Dawn McCarroll, Lee Brophy, Matthew Demand and Katheryn Livingston; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Marlin, Noel and Bill Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
