Pauline Mae Housden, age 94, in Stanley, Va., died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at MontVue Nursing Home in Luray, Va.
Mrs. Housden was born March 23, 1913, in Stanley, and was a daughter of the late, Frank I. Griffith and Celia (Gray) Griffith.
On Dec. 7, 1932, she married Hoyd 'Perry' Clifford Housden, who died Sept. 21, 2001.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Lora H. and Greg Buracker; two grandsons, Lynn D. and Donna Housden and Lee A. Housden, all of Luray; great-grandchildren, Margot Baker, Sarah Baker and Daniel Housden, all of Luray, Alana Housden of Stanley, Matthew Housden, Lindsay Housden and David Housden, all of Luray and great-great-grandchildren, Jonathan Price and Eleanor Price, both of Luray and a sister, Lottie Willis of Northern Virginia.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, L. Wayne Housden; a grandson, Larry Wayne Housden; and two brothers, Richard H. Griffith and Glenn F. Griffith.
Burial at Graves Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
