Mrs. Anna M. Bumbaugh, 86, of Volant RD 3 died in the Jameson Memorial Hospital at 2:20 p.m. yesterday after a three month illness.
She was born in England on June 26, 1881, to the late John and Helen Townley O'Brien. She had been a resident of Volant RD 3 for the past 38 years and her husband, William R. Bumbaugh, died on Jan. 9, 1954. Mrs. Bumbaugh was a member of Neshannock United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard E. (Gladys) Crane of Butler; a son, William J. of Volant RD 3; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters; a son; two bbrothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends at the Sharp Funeral Home in New Wilmington from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home conducted by Dr. Victor G. Dawe of Neshannock UP Church. Interment will take place in Valley View cemetery.
