AARON SAUM, lifelong resident of Halfway, died late on Wednesday night at the Washington County Hospital of Bright's disease, after being ill for a long time, aged 75 years. Mr. Saum was well known in the community. He was a member of the United Brethren Church at Williamsport.
He is survived by his widow, Gertrude Saum, and the following sons and daughters: Ira L., Ami C., Mrs. Sophia Young, and Mrs. Cora Munson, Hagerstown, and Mrs. Lucy Hardt, Marlowe, W.Va.; sister, Mrs. Belle McLaughlin, Hagerstown, and a brother, Francis J., Springfield, 0.
Funeral Sunday leaving the home at 1922 Virginia avenue at l:30 o'clock, services in Emmanuel U. B. Church, this city, at 2:30 o'clock by Revs. Thomas and Holdcraft. Burial in Rose Hill cemetery.
