Donald Graber
Donald LaVerne Graber, 54 Kincaid Trailer Court, Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday evening, Dec. 28, 1988, at his home.
He was born June 19, 1934, in Trenton Township, the son of Glen and Marcella Hinkle Graber. Feb. 8, 1959, he married Vada Fay Arnold.
He was a member of the First United Christian Church, Mt. Pleasant, and had worked for REC 1959-75 as a utility foreman. He served with the U.S. Army in Germany 1954-56 and was a 1954 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School.
Surviving are two sons, Jeff and Greg Graber, St. Louis, Mo.; his mother, Mrs. Marcella Graber, Mt. Pleasant;
grandmother, Mrs. Laura Hinkle; two brothers, Roger Graber, Mt. Pleasant, and Dwight Graber, Washington; and one sister, Mrs. Donald (Thelma) Scarff of Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Wanda Barnett.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 Saturday, Dec. 31, from the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Deb
Kiesey officiating.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m., Friday at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, where visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Friday. The casket will remain closed.
Memorials in his name have been established to the Green Mound Cemetery or Henry County Mental Health Services
