Glen Graber
Glen J. Graber, 71, 507 W. Madison, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1976 at 2:30 p.m. at Henry County
Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.
He was born in Henry County April 10, 1905 the son of Jacob E. and Barbara Roth Graber.
Mr. Graber was a retired farmer.
He was a lifelong resident of the Trenton and Mt. Pleasant communities. He was a member of the Wayland Mennonite
Church.
On Dec. 19, 1931, he was married to Marcella Hinkle at Wayland.
He is survived by his widow, three sons, Donald Graber and Roger D. Graber, Mt. Pleasant and Dwight Graber,
Washington, and two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Thelma) Scarff, of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Dale (Wanda) Barnett,
Monmouth, Ill., one sister, Mrs. Gladys White, Mt. Pleasant, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Green Mound Church of God on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ralph
Draper officiating.
Interment will be in Green Mound Cemetery.
Funds may call as they desire at the Beatty-Jennings Chapel in Mt. Pleasant.
A memorial fund in memory of Mr. Graber has been established to the Heart Fund or the White Oak Church. Memorials may be left at the Beatty-Jennings Chapel in Mt. Pleasant.
