Walter Monroe Parsons was the son of Allan Randolph Parsons and Mary Magdalene Rhodes. He married Laura Belle Hatcher on 11 Jun 1905 in Jackson County, WV. There were four children of this marriage. Those children are: Delbert, Darrell, William McClellan and Denver A. It appears that Laura Belle Hatcher Parsons died about 1918, as he remarried Jane Withrow on 3 May 1919, and declared on marriage license that he was widowed. On the 1920 census, he is shown as widowed, so we may assume that Jane Withrow Parsons died somewhere around 1919. His third marriage was to Julia Ann Heck Casto on 14 Apr 1928 in Kanawha County, WVA and was married to her for 11 years. She died in 1939. He married a fourth time to Flora Della Thompson, a widow, on 17 March 1956. The West Virginia State Archives has marriage certificates for all four marriages, as well as his birth and death certificates.
