Obituary of Mrs. John Metcalf
Mrs. John Metcalf, 69, Bouleyard Station, died Sunday morning at the home of her son Elmer Ford; 1207 Floyd Blvd., after a long illness. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. James E. Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Meyer Bros. Colonial Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Baumgardner, Elmer Ford, Don and Ray Cassiday, John New Kirk and Peter Eldridge.
A prayer service will be conducted at 8 o'clock this evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Metcalf the former Lucetta M. Eacret, was born Jan. 16, 1904, near Sioux City. She lived all of her life in the Sioux City vicinity with the exception of 11 years spent at Davenport, Iowa. She returned to Sioux City from Davenport in 1960.
She married Harry Baumgardner who died in Sioux City in 1943.
She married Frank Ford who died in 1954 in Montpelier, Iowa.
She married Mr. Metcalf April 23, 1960 in South Sioux City.
Survivors include the widower; two sons, Clifford Baumgardner and Elmer Ford, both of Sioux City; a brother Frank J. Eacret of Sioux City; a sister Mrs. Sylvester (Golda) Ford Sr. of Sioux City and three grandchildren.
