He was born in Wake County on March 27, 1931 to the late Aubrey Woodlief, Sr. and Sarah Powell Woodlief.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Bervin, Fleming, Maynard, Woodrow, and sisters Selene Wright, Ione King and Hortense Gibson.
Aubrey was a dedicated Christian and served as deacon, superintendent and teacher at Woodland Baptist Church. He was well-known for visiting the shut-ins and the sick of the community. He retired from Dixie Forming and Building in 1996 where he was in Inside Sales and served as Credit Manager.
Aubrey cherished and loved his family more than anything else in the world. He truly defined the meaning of husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
