TILMAN LEROY KEITHLEY
---Tilman Leroy Keithley, brother of Clarence Keithley of La Plata and a resident of Gifford, died at his home there Sunday afternoon at 1:00. He was sixty-three years old.
---Tilman Keithley was born in Sullivan County, near Browning, June 11, 1892, the son of Nova and Ella Welch Keithley.
---On February 14, 1916, he was united in marriage to Nellie Easley. Four children were born to the union.
---He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Deloma Slaughter of New Boston, Missouri, Mrs. Rose Hentis of Atlanta, Kenneth Keithley of Macon and Harved Keithley of Sylvay, New York.
---Survivors also include nine grandchildren; one brother, Clarence of La Plata; two half sisters, Mrs. Violet Lagle of Kansas City, Missouri and Mrs. Hazel Brown of Potann, Kansas.
---He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter.
---He was a member of the South Gifford Christian Church since early manhood.
---Services were at the Christian Church yesterday afternoon at 2:00 with Rev. H.P. Johnson officiating.
---Burial was in Indian Hill Cemetery with McCollum Funeral Home in charge.
