She married Franklyn Lang Loennig December 8, 1920 in Hallowell, Kansas.

Grace taught school in Hallowell, KS & Muddy Creek, Haines, OR. She was an excellent seamstress and gardener. She was of the Baptist faith and a Christian worker. She was a member of the DAR.

Children: Florence Louise Peters, 1921-1988; Emily Elizabeth Theodosiou, 1923-; Franklyn Cruickshank Loennig, 1928-1993.
