Gladys E. Chaney, 80, of Jacksonville died Monday morning, March 18, 2002 at Passavant Area Hospital. She was born March 21, 1921 in Griggsville the daughter of George T. and Beulah Mae Smith. She married William Chester Chaney on June 25, 1980 in Meansville, Georgia and he survives.
She is also survived by several brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.
She was a nurses aid for 17 years and later worked as a private duty nurse.
Services were entrusted to Williamson Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
