KIENZLE
Capt. Forrest F. Kienzle died August 16, at McDill Air Base.
He was born at Leona, Kan., Feb 6, 1920, the son of William and Lydia Kienzle. He lived in Leona and graduated from the Leona high school. He worked as an agent for the UP Railroad until he entered the Service in April of 1943. His career in the Air Force took him to England, Germany, No. Africa and Newfoundland. His family was with him overseas whenever possible.
On Oct. 6, 1945, he marrried Kathleen Bracken who survives him, together with 3 children...[a fourth child was born after the death of Forrest] He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Hennings of Kansas City and Mrs. Marjorie Knecht of Leona.
The funeral mass will be read Tuesday at McDill Air Base, with burial at Arlington National cemetery.
Mrs. Ida Bracken of Hiawatha flew to Tampa Friday to be with her daughter, and Mrs. Marjorie Knecht of Leona flew down on Monday.
