Elizabeth was born in Center Township, raised her family and died in Marion Township; all in Butler County, Pennsylvania. She was the 7th born of 8 children of her parents Christian Fleeger and Nancy G Gold.

She married the farmer Jackson McMillian VanDyke on January 7th, 1869 in Harrisville, Butler Co., PA. Between 1872 and 1897 they had 6 boys and 5 girls. All their children were born in Marion Township, Butler Co., PA.

Their given names in the order of their births are: Samuel M, Abigail J, Richard A, Sarah A, Harrison Thomas, Lee, Daisy Alice, Maimie A, Amanda, Joseph and Charles VanDyke.

Two different FaG members have reported to me that they have seen her death certificate. One says it clearly calls out her death date as 13 May 1911 and the other reports that Death Certificate #45852 says Elizabeth died on 10 May 1911.
