On 8 October 1902 Albert and Mary L. Irwin were married. Mary was the daughter of A. Carson Irwin and Elizabeth Bailiff. The newlyweds moved into the homestead (the senior Tidds moved to Alger)and took over farm operations, remaining there throughout their 52 year marriage. The couple had 4 daughters: Mary Ellen(1905-1954) who married Otis Tullock; Blanche Elizabeth(1909-1967) who married Charles Yochum; Esther Alice (1911-2000) who married Jay Zeigler; and Dorothy Mae (1916-1993) who married first, Sgt. Allen Long and then after his death married Robert Shea.
ALBERT TIDDS WED 50 YEARS
ROUNDHEAD - Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Tidd, of this community, will observe their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, with a family dinner at noon and open house from 2 to 5 p.m. in their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Tidd were married near Roundhead Oct. 8, 1902 and have resided on the same farm since their marriage. Mrs. Tidd is the former Mary Irwin.
They have four daughters, Mrs. Otis Tulloch, Waynesfield, Mrs. Jay Ziegler, Route 1, Alger, Miss Blanche Tidd, Route 1, Belle Center, and Mrs. Robert Shea, Route 4, Kenton, and four grandchildren.

ALBERT TIDD OBITUARY
ROUNDHEAD - Services for Albert (Allie) Tidd, 78, Route 1, Belle Center, will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Roundhead Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Roundhead Cemetery.
Mr. Tidd died Wednesday in San Antonio Hospital, Kenton, after a two-month illness.
A native of Hardin County, Mr. Tidd was a farmer and a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Belle Center. He was married Aug. 8, 1902, to Mary L. Irwin, who survives.
Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Blanche Yochum, 1223 N. McCullough St., Lima; Mrs. Esther Zeigler, Route 1, Alger, and Mrs. Dorothy Shea, Route 4, Kenton; a brother, Hollister Tidd, Route 1, Belle Center, and five grandchildren.
The body was removed from the Hanson Funeral Home, Alger, to the family residence today to remain until shortly before time for services.
