She was born on Dec. 16, 1911 to Albert and Mary (Irwin) Tidd, in Roundhead. On March 31, 1934, she married Jay J. Zeigler who died on April 29, 1986.
She is survived by a son, Delmar J. (Linda) Zeigler of Alger; a daughter, LaVerne Neal of Bellefontaine; eight grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Albert Zeigler, and three sisters: Dorothy Shea, Mary Ellen Tullock and Blanche Yockum.
Mrs. Zeigler was a homemaker. She attended the former Pilgrim Holiness Church of Alger. She was a member of the former Pleasant Hill Grange. She was a graduate of Roundhead High School in 1931.
Services were held on Oct. 6 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, with Pastor Jeff Bartlett officiating. Burial was in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
