The funeral of J. ELMER LEHMAN was held Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the funeral home of A.K. Coffman, the service being conducted by Rev. Dr. J. Edward Harms. Members of the Men's Bible Class of St. John's Lutheran church, of which Mr. Lehman was a member, were the pallbearers.
Mr. Lehman was employed by the Standard Oil Company for the past twelve years as a contractor. He was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He died at the hospital here as a result of an accident in falling from a cherry tree at his home near Smithsburg.
