Joe Pinter, 78, of West died Friday morning in West Community Hospital.
Services were held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. William Benish officiating. Burial followed in Bold Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Pinter, a native of Flatonia, married Rosie Cinek in February, 1928. He was a retired farmer and a restaurant owner. Mr. Pinter was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Pinter of West; one son, Sam Pinter of West; one daughter, Patsy Morgan of Cullowbee, North Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Krizan of San Angelo and Mrs. Janie Curtis of Lubbock; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were: Henry Smetak, James Smetak, Leo Miller, Lynn Janek, David Janek, and Sammy Pinter.
