Henry Austin, 66 years old, one of Jackson county's most prominent farmers and wealthy land owners, died at the Murphysboro hospital Monday. He was buried at Ava yesterday.
Austin resided northwest of Murphysboro where he owned large tracts of land. He was the head of a large family and highly esteemed throughout the county.
