Mrs. Helen M. Buchanan, 68, of 315 McConnell St., Grove City, died at 5 a.m. today at her residence after a three months illness.
Born Dec. 23, 1896 in Grove City, she was a daughter of Charles and Alice Butler Shaffer. Her husband Wirt F. Buchanan, whom she married April 13, 1917, died in 1959.
Mrs. Buchanan was a member of the Grace Methodist Church of Grove City.
Surviving are a son, Charles W. Buchanan of Branchton and a daughter, Rosemary Buchanan at home.
A sister, Mrs. Hazel McClelland preceded her in death.
