She was born in Amity, and had lived in Shreveport the past 16 years.
Mrs. Durham was a daughter of the late Rev. George W. and Mary Rice. Her father was for number of years a member of the Arkansas Conference of Methodist churches.
Mrs. Durham was a member of the Noel Methodist Church in Shreveport.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert C. Durham of Pine Bluff and W. Jack Durham of Shreveport; three daughters, Adeline Durham of Shreveport, Mrs. C. P. Kuchenbecker of Bridgeport, Conn., and Mrs. H. A. McCreary of Jacksonville, Ark.; one brother, J. W. Rice of Palestine, Tex.; and two sisters, Mrs. M. A. Jackson of El Dorado and Mrs. Maude Ritchey of Corpus Christi, Tex.
The body will arive in Pine Bluff tomorrow afternoon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday.
