Marion married Maggie Martin, in 1897, in Bowie Co TX. He was the son of Thomas Monroe & Marthis Olivia [Harris] White, also of Maud Bowie Co. His father was born in Union Co SC, mother in Botetourt Co VA. Was the Grandson of Benjamin & Polly [Nix] White, whom migrated from SC to TX and arriving in 1846, they were early settlers of Texarkana TX.
Marion's birth and death is recorded in the Thomas M White family Bible. Now in the

NASH, Texas (Spl.) — Funeral services for Marion Augustus White, 87, of Nash, and father of Gus White Jr. of Lake Charles, were to be held at 1 p.m. today in Maud, Texas. Mr. White, a frequent visitor to Lake Charles, died at his home Saturday after a long illness. Additional survivors are one son, Norman White of Oakland, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Roberts and Mrs. C. C. Fischer, both of Nash and Mrs. Leon Foster of Maud; three brothers, C. T. L. Marion married Maggie Martin, in 1897, in Bowie Co TX. He was the son of Thomas Monroe & Marthis Olivia [Harris] White, also of Maud Bowie Co. His father was born in Union Co SC, mother in Botetourt Co VA. Was the Grandson of Benjamin & Polly [Nix] White, whom migrated from SC to TX and arriving in 1846, they were early settlers of Texarkana TX.
Marion's birth and death is recorded in the Thomas M White family Bible. Now in the
possession of a descendant still living in Bowie Co TX.

NASH, Texas (Spl.) — Funeral services for Marion Augustus White, 87, of Nash, and father of Gus White Jr. of Lake Charles, were to be held at 1 p.m. today in Maud, Texas. Mr. White, a frequent visitor to Lake Charles, died at his home Saturday after a long illness. Additional survivors are one son, Norman White of Oakland, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Roberts and Mrs. C. C. Fischer, both of Nash and Mrs. Leon Foster of Maud; three brothers, C. T. L. L. and Newt White all of Maud. Also two sisters, Mrs. Lola McDaniel of Alto, Texas, and Mrs. Delia Lawrence of Byers, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren."

1910 Census named one of their Children William White, was only on the 1910 census, as 5 months old, the census was taken 6 May 1910, Raymond, is not on the 1910, and should have been, he was born Oct 1909... how could they have had another baby in 3 months??? I believe, William is actually, Raymond White, and could possibly be Raymond's middle name, or a mistake by the census taker.
