George Myers was a Revolutionary War patriot. After the war he was given a piece of land in Nicholas County, Kentucky. It was named Myers Station. He built a home there out of logs in 1793. His wife's name was Margaret. Most family records have her as Margaret Kerr, but that has not been proven thus far. The cemetery is located up in the hills behind, and not far from, the log home.
