Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2 oclock in the First Baptist church in Arthur. Interment was in Kellar cemetery.
Mrs. Howell was born north of Williamsburg, Dec. 15,1890, a daughter of Francis and Etta Ray and was married to William J. Howell,1n 1909. To this union two sons and one daughter were born. The daughter died two years ago. Besides her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Dale at Arthur and one grandson, all of Arthur,one brother V.H.Ray of Decatur and four sisters, Mrs. Hugh Murray of this city, Mrs.Homer Murray of Indianapolis, Mrs.Opal Weaver of Decatur and Mrs. Hugh McDonald of Peoria.
