Luda Grissom died Tuesday morning, was taken ill about 4 weeks ago while teaching school in the country north of Schuyler. Illness was hemorrhages so frequent and severe as to render her so weak that she was necessarily confined to her bed during her illness. Funeral services were held at First Presbyterian Church, Thursday afternoon, Rev. T. A. Truscott, the pastor officiating.
A native of Missouri having been born near Calhoun, came to Schuyler 17 years ago. Entered city schools and completed the course graduating in 1909. Spent 4 summers in study at Kearney State Normal, was teaching her 7th year in Colfax County.
The family resided at Kearney a year prior to last August when they returned to Schuyler.
Survivors: parents, brother, Edgar of Denver, 2 sisters, Mrs. William Hughes and Miss Opal Grissom of this city.
