Consumption Causes Death of Miss Boren Near Maggie
Miss Peachie Boren, who has been a sufferer of tuberculosis for many months, died last Thursday at the home of Mr. William Randolph, near Maggie. She was seventeen years of age, and was a daughter of the late Cy Boren, who died near Linton several years ago. Since the death of her father and mother, which occurred near the same time from the dame malady which caused the death of the daughter, she had lived with Mr. and Mrs. Randolph. She was a member of the Methodist Church, and was a most excellent young lady and had many friends. The funeral took place Friday at the old "Dick" Hargrove graveyard in Linton district.
