Mrs. Minnie Shults Gray, age 78 of the Lakeside Community, Sweetwater, Tennessee died 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 11, 1987 at Athens Community Hospital. Member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, George H. Gray on May 7, 1985. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and Glen Rogers of Greenback, Tennessee, Betty and Andy Millsaps, Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee, Kate and Charles P. Anderson of Decatur, Tennessee, Carolyn and Danny Centers of Cleveland, Tennessee, Pat and Robert Smith of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jama Ellis of Madisonville, Tennessee; sons, Earl Gray of Sweetwater, Tennessee, Glen Grey of Sweetwater, Tennessee, John Gray of Loudon, Tennessee, Charles Gray of Philadelphia, Tennessee; 22 grandchildren to include, Edward Lee Gray of the Lakeside Community, Debra K. Queen of the Lakeside Community; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Millie Ann Woods of Greenback, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Eldridge Ownby of Sevierville, Tennessee; a number of nieces and nephews. The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, Tennessee where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 1987. Funeral service 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 14, 1987 at Kyker's Chapel with the Reverend Tommy Self and the Reverend Cara Kirkland officiating. Interment in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lakeside Community. Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, Tennessee is in charge of the arrangements.
