Helen Allred 1921 ~ 2010 Helen Allred passed away peacefully Monday, February 15, 2010 at her daughter's home at the age of 88.She was born August 29, 1921 to James and Gladys Young in Ophir, Utah. She married Kimball Ross Allred, January 2, 1941 in Elko, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kim; father, James Young; mother, Gladys Young, and brother James "Bud" Young, Jr. She is survived by her children: Jack (Lois) Allred, Linda (Neal) Olson, and Gary (Janice) Allred; sisters: Georgia Skinner, Betty Higgins; sister-in-law, Mary Young all of Tooele; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grand children. Mother enjoyed life spending time with family and friends. She always had a smile for you, a witty sense of humor, and if you asked her if she felt OK she would always say, "I'm doing good." Funeral services will be held at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Viewings are Friday, February 19th, 6-8 p.m. and 11:30-12:30 prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Tooele City Cemetery.
