Aylean Roark, 89 of Many, Louisiana died on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at Sabine Medical Center in Many, Louisiana.
She was born Friday, January 30, 1920 in Sabine Parish, Louisiana, She was the daughter of the late Coleman Leach and the late Lilly Anthony Leach. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joy Leach; and brothers, Hoy Leach and C. J. Leach.
She is survived by her sons, Shelton Roark & wife Rita of Negreet, LA, Tommy Roark & wife Pam of Shreveport, LA Phillip Roark & wife Debbie of Many, LA and Richard Roark & wife Donna of Fairview, TX; daughters, Merilyn Booker & husband Norman, Jr. of Many, LA and Evelyn Armour & husband Robert of Allen, TX, sister, Ruby Thigpen of Covington, LA; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 3:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Many, LA with Rev. Hoy Leach, Rev. Kenneth Leach & Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Interment will be in Many Cemetery, Many, LA. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 5:00 pm at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA.
Pallbearers will be Norman Booker III, Jay Booker, Stephen Booker, Trent Roark, Tyler Roark, Tanner Roark, Robert Armour and Sam Crist.
