Born Feb. 12, 1906, in Northfield, Minn., to Richard and Marie Churchill, she married Leo F. Davis on April 24, 1926, in Dupree, S.D. He died Dec. 27, 1945, in East Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by three sons, one daughter, four brothers and one sister.
Surviving are three sons, Lawrence of Hanna City, Dennis of Pekin and Charles of Greenville; one daughter, Martha Schwertzfeger of the state of Oregon; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She taught school in Doland, S.D., and later worked at the Aero-Jet General Plant in California.
She was a member of Free Methodist Church in East Peoria.
Private graveside services will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. The Rev. Ralph Park will officiate. There will be no visitation. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
