Grace McDuffie , retired office worker for local truck firm
Graveside services for Grace Pinyan McDuffie of East Point, a retired office worker for McLean Trucking Co., will be at 1 p.m. today at Westview Cemetery. Howard L. Carmichael & Sons Funeral Home in East Point is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McDuffie, 86, died Tuesday of cancer at Southwest Christian Hospice in Union City.
As a 26-year employee of McLean Trucking on Moreland Avenue, Mrs. McDuffie handled a number of responsibilities in the office, from bookkeeping to dispatching, according to her grandson, Daniel McDuffie of Fayetteville. She retired from the company in 1974.
She was preceded in Death by her Parents Mitch and Julia Pinyan of East Point, Ga.,and her brother Mitchell Craig Pinyan of East Point, GA.
She is survived by her son, Ralph C. McDuffie and wife Eleanor of Fayetteville; a sister, Mary Pinyan Cook of East Point; Three grandsons, two great-grandsons.
