Mrs. McDaniel, born May 30, 1912, in Troup County was the daughter of the late E.D. and Ludora Phillips. She had lived here all of her life and was a graduate of LaGrange High School and then graduated from Business School.
She was employed by Mallory Realty Company for 35 years as secretary-book keeper. Upon her retirement she joined her husband at McDaniel Printing Company and remained until her health failed.
Mrs. McDaniel was a member of the First Baptist Church on the Square for 70 years and was active in church work as long as her health permitted. Also she was a member of the Pilot Club for a number of years.
