A native of Coweta County, Mrs. Phillips was the wife of the late Edwin D. Phillips. She had lived in Macon 28 years, moving here from LaGrange. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Olin Arnett of Macon, Mrs. Ralph McDaniel of LaGrange and Mrs. Tom Early of Homestead, Fla.; Three sons, William M. Phillips of Columbus, Jack Phillips of Winter Park, Fla., and Dr. A.M. Phillips of Macon; a sister, Mrs. tom Harper of Miami, Fla.; two brothers, Claude Parker and B.J. Parker, both of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
