Funeral services for Abe Jones,85, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Gilmore, pastor of the Riverview Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Jones died Sunday morning in Palo Duro Nursing Home in Claude.

He had been a resident of Borger for the past 20 years and was a retired laborer.

Survivors include: a son, Frank Jones of Borger; three stepsons, H.P. Anderson of Colbert, Okla., Joe Anderson of Eray, N.M., Summers Anderson of Las Cruces, N.M.; one stepdaughter, Clipper Blue of Fresno, Calif.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
