HEART ATTACK FATAL AT WORK
Gilbert Harntell, 54, Succumbs While at Work in Kenosha Industrial Plant
Stricken with a heart attack while at his work in the Tri Clover manufacturing company, Gilbert John Hartnell, 54, died shortly after 7 o'clock Monday morning. He resided at 6030 34th Avenue.
Hartnell was apparently in normal health when he arose, and was cheerful at breakfast before reporting to work. When he reached the Tri Clover company he was seized with the attack. Medical aid was summoned but he was unable to respond to all availing treatments.
His sudden passing came as a shock to his legions of friends and relatives and particularly to his co-workers at Tri Clover where he was widely known and highly regarded for his efficiency.
Born In Salem
He was born in Salem township on July 18, 1888 the sone of the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Hartnell. There he was educated.
On August 7, 1914 he was united in marriage to Miss Irene Taylor. He came to Kenosha with his family 25 years ago and has made his home here since that time. He was a former employee of the city of Kenosha and for a number of years has been in the employ of the Tri Clover Mfg. Company.
He was a member of the Tri Clover Club and the Fidelity Life Association.
He is survived by his widow and a son Cyril G. Hartnell of Kenosha, a grandson and five sisters: Mrs. Andrew Baker and Mrs. John Darwae of Kenosha, Mrs. Herman Schultz, Mrs. Arthur Feldkamp, and Mrs. Lester Smith of Salem.
