She came to South Dakota in 1906 settling on a homestead near Draper, SD. Here she resided until World War I. Her husband enlisted in the Medical Corps and she accompanied him. Returning in 1919 the settled in Murdo, SD and came to Fort Pierre in 1934.
She is survived by one son Earl, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one nephew.
