Born in Zachasberg, County Kolmar, Posen, Prussia, daughter of Ludwig Senkfiel and Florentine Wilhelmine (Quade) Senkfiel. Married Frederick August Fenner in 1866, he died in 1875; married Otto Carl Arendsee in 1876.

OBITUARY
Augusta Arendsee nee Senkfiel, was born in Germany May 28, 1849, and died November 13, 1923 very unexpectedly while on her way from Rhinelander to Spencer with her son Henry Fenner. She had enjoyed her usual health and all of a sudden took sick while riding in an automobile and passed away before medical aid could be secured.

As a child of 4 years she came with her parents to America, first locating in Crystal Lake where she grew to young womanhood and was married to Frederick Fenner in 1866. To this union four sons were born, of which her husband and two sons preceded her in death. After her marriage the Fenner family moved onto a farm about one mile north of Westfield where they lived for many years.

In 1875 she was married to Otto Arendsee and to this union four sons and two daughters were born, of which her husband, one son and one daughter also preceded her in death. After her daughter's death in 1918 (Mrs. Thomas Elliott) she made her home with Mr. Elliott for a time caring for an infant grand child. The last two years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs.B. B. Bennett of Rockford, Ill.

The first part of September she had come to Wisconsin to visit with her children who are living at various places in this state and Michigan. These visits had now been completed and she was planning to return to her home in Rockford, Illinois, but the Lord in his providence had planned it otherwise, her journey led her to the eternal home to be with her Lord for ever.

While yet in her teens she was converted to God and united with the Evangelical church of which she was a faithful member until her death, retaining her membership with the Coloma Congregation.

She leaves to mourn her departure five sons, Julius of Coloma, Wisconsin;Henry of Spencer, Wisconsin; Richard of Eagle River, Wisconsin; Reinhardt of Rockford, Illinois, Otto of Laurium, Michigan; and one daughter Lydia, now Mrs. B. B. Bennett, of Rockford, Illinois. Fifteen grand children and 3 great grand children besides other relatives and friends who will miss her. Funeral service was held from the home of her grand daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Meinke at 11 o'clock and from the Evangelical church at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 1923 conducted by her pastor, Rev. Geo. H. Scheible. Interment made in the East Cemetery.
