Pacolet, SC - Lucy White Shealy died on Thursday, July 26, 1984 at her residence. Widow of Luther Floyd Shealy and native of Spartanburg, SC. Daughter of the late Warren W. and Nettie West White and retired principal of Pacolet Elementary School after 29 years of service. And was part of the public school system for 40 years. Member of the Presbyterian Church, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the South Carolina Education Association, the South Carolina Elementary and Middle School Principals Association, the Spartanburg County Education Association, and a graduate of Wofford College. Survivors included: one daughter and five grandchildren. She was 77 years of age at demise and interment was in the Pacolet Methodist Cemetery.
