Alford G. Wade, 93, died Wednesday at Lyndon Lane Nursing Center. He was a native of Marion County and a retired employee of Reynolds Metals Co. Survivors: his wife, the former Agnes Newton; daughters, Norma Phillips, Martha Carmichael and Janet Dean; sons, Bob, David and Kenneth Wade; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road. Burial: Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, 9 a.m. - noon and 3-9 p.m. Friday.
