Martha Patricia Carmichael, 84, entered Eternal Life Thursday, July 28, 2022. Martha was born on November 27, 1937 in Louisville to the late Alfred and Agnes Newton Wade.
She was a former parishioner of Church of the Resurrection and then St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church. She worked for General Electric for 31 years as a timekeeper before her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Ray Carmichael (Kathy); daughter, Teresa Carmichael; grandchildren, TJ Carmichael Fearnow (Christopher) and Kara Carmichael Bush (Evan); siblings, Janet E Dean (Stephen Ernspiker), Robert Wade, and Kenneth Wade (Cindy); and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Funeral services will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
