Funeral services for Mr. Harold W. Golemon will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004 in New Hope Baptist Church, Calcasieu, with the Reverends Dwayne Davis and Charles Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Star Baptist Cemetery, Hineston, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home of Oakdale.

Mr. Golemon, 76, of Hineston entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 in his residence. He was a resident of Hineston where he was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church. He retired as a construction worker. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Golemon and Loutisha Weatherford Anderson; and two sisters, Evelyn Hoye and Marie Thrasher.

He is survived by his loving wife of six years, Dorothy Nessmith Golemon of Hineston; one son, David Golemon of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Lisa Vise of Houston, Texas; one sister, Atha Lee Fletcher of Crossett, Ark.; two grandchildren, Allie Vise and Conner Vise; three stepsons, Larry Chevalier of Glenmora, Michael Brown of Pineville and Daniel Brown of Hineston; three stepdaughters, Gloria Davis of Otis, Patty Langel of Kohler, Wis., and Sharon Brown of Alexandria; and nine step-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2004 and from 8 a.m. until time of services Thursday, April 15, 2004, all in New Hope Baptist Church, Calcasieu.
