Atha Lee Humphrey Fletcher, 82, of Crossett died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004. Born Aug. 14, 1921, in Glenmora, LA, to Willie George and Lou Tishie Weatherford Goleman, Mrs. Fletcher was a charter member of the First Church of God in Crossett and was retired from First National Bank of Crossett after 13 years of service.

Survivors include one son, Darrel Humphrey and wife Sonya of Crossett; three daughters, Kay Gannon and husband Norman of Brandon, MS, Gayle Strebeck and husband Tommy of Crossett, and Rita Grider of Crossett; nine grandchildren, Renee Skinner and husband David of El Dorado, Darrel Humphrey, Jr., of Alexandria, LA, Stephan Humphrey of Crossett, Brad Grice of Brandon, MS, Barry Strebeck and wife Tiffany of Crossett, Shelbi Hughes and husband Guy of Crossett, Chad Courson, Laura Leigh Grider, and Randi Caryn Grider, all of Crossett; and six great-grandchildren, Chandler Hollis, Chesley Hollis, Britt Gannon, Suzanne Skinner, Chelsea Renee Strebeck and Samantha Gayle Strebeck. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest S. Humphrey and Hunter Fletcher.

Funeral services were planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the First Church of God with Bros. Will Hughes, Oliver Hogue and Roy Pepmiller officiating. Interment was to follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Pallbearers were to be Chad Courson, Danny Smith, Dale Hester, Johnnie Dixon, Marty McClain and Donnie Strebeck. Honorary pallbearers were to be grandsons and Travis Warren, Royce and Wayne Jordan, Dan Dean, Steve Strickland, Frank Rawls, Chic Sipes and Glenn Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Church of God, 1501 Main St., Crossett, Ark. 71635 or Hospice Home Care, 455 Gaines St., Monticello, Ark. 71655.
