BRIEF BITS OF CITY NEWS.
Dr. Alfred Bennefeld, who practiced medicine in Kansas City for ten years, died last night at 1221 Oak street. He was 45 years old. His body will be sent to Augusta, Missouri, for burial.

This gravestone fragment has been in the sexton's cottage for safekeeping for some time. It was possibly the top portion of a tablet that broke off. There are a couple of areas of the cemetery that were designated Section 5 over the years so it is unclear where this gravestone fragment belongs. Research will continue in hopes of returning this fragment to its proper place.
