The widow of M/Sgt. Herbert J. Pfeil, she was born in Oakland Valley to Church and Mary Gordon Case.
Mrs. Pfeil was a resident of West Point and Fort Montgomery for a number of years and a member of the Eastern Star of Port Jervis.
She is survived by four sons, Herbert J., Jr., of Middletown, Richard A., of Upper Marlboro, Md., Don H., of Stony Point, and Church B., of Fort Montgomery; a daughter, Lois A. of Fort Montgomery; a brother, Harold G. Case of Cuddebackville; Mrs. Louise C. Hedgecock of Covina, Calif., and Mrs. Marion Jagger of Cuddebackville; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be from the William F. Hogan Funeral Home, S. Main Street, Highland Falls at 11 Tuesday, with burial in West Point Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
