High View - Frank Flaherty, 88, a retired brick layer, died Thursday at Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown, after a short illness.
Mr. Flaherty, a veteran of World War I, lived on Shawanga Lodge Road in High View. He was a member of the Mason and Plasterers' Union.
Born Nov. 1, 1883, in Boston, Mass., he was the son of Peter and Mary Lyden Flaherty. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Wurtsboro.
Friends may call Friday from 7-9, at the Hasbrouck Funeral Chapel, Middletown.
